Have you ever thought of something interesting and you wanted to write it down? You can do this now with the ClipCube application – you can use this compact note taking application to write down anything you want. Keep your notes nicely sorted, export them, or copy them to the clipboard and paste them into any application you want. Speaking about the clipboard, ClipCube monitors it and presents all the text you copy in its interface.

You don’t have to go through an installation process to get started with ClipCube on your Windows PC. You need only download a small archive, extract the executable inside it, and then run it. If you’re constantly on the go, you can put ClipCube on a USB stick, for example, and take it with you. Or, you can put the ClipCube executable in your Dropbox folder – all the ClipCube files will be contained in that folder and synced across the devices on which you use Dropbox.

To the left, on its interface, ClipCube presents three buttons: Clipboard (presents all the text you copy to the clipboard), Links (presents all the links your copy), and Scratchpad (presents the notes you create). From the buttons located in the upper right hand side of the interface, you can create notes, delete them, copy a note to the clipboard, add a tag, edit a note, and access the preferences menu.

While ClipCube is running silently in the background, it monitors your clipboard. When you copy a piece of text, it is added to the Clipboard section on its interface. When you copy a web link, it is added to the Links section.
To create a note, you need to right click on the application’s interface and select Make note, hit the Make note button at the top, or use the Ctrl + N hotkey (you can view a complete list of hotkeys in the Manual section on the application’s official website). Using tags, you can keep all your notes nicely organized.

ClipCube is freeware. Do consider making a donation if you enjoy using the application and you want to support its development.

ClipCube is a very handy clipboard monitoring tool and note taking application. Use it for free, use it with ease!

Pros

ClipCube is portable; you don’t have to install it. The interface is good looking and easy to use. ClipCube monitors your clipboard and lets you write down notes. Hotkeys are supported. ClipCube is freeware.

Cons

None that I could think of.
